Default Buying a prop

A buddy has a 2004 Yamaha 150 h.p. outboard on an 18' Lund fishing boat. He wants to buy a four blade aluminum prop and is looking on-line. How will he know that it will fit? Is an I/O drive different from an outboard? So, what should he look for?

Go stainless or go home.
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Need to make sure the hub kit will work for his engine. They are not universal.

https://turningpointpropellers.com/ use the Prop Wizard to determine the appropriate prob and hub combo. I bought mine at https://www.wholesalemarine.com/
