It would be the only Crownline, in a long time, with a blue motor!

Mine is for sale. Don't let a little salt water scare you. New exhaust manifolds and collectors just over a year ago and it is closed cooling so no salt water in any of the engine components. Only thing it is missing in your requirements is captains call.

Billy I just heard back from the guy with the black 282. He's been gone hunting for over a week. He just got your VM. He said he will be in touch.

blue motors require an extensive 300 hour service, so if you find one, anticipate it needing this. you can modify a 496 with internals that are as good, or better than a blue motor for less money. i've heard you can drop off your boat and have this done...

i added captains call to mine and it wasn't too bad. just takes some stones to drill 4" holes at the waterline.

sounds like it's settled! good choice Billy.
