Default new canvas (what color)

So having a 2006 250CR with the tannish colored hull and the tan canvas wife thinks black canvas will look good? Anyone have one with black canvas? Any opinions on how it would look?

Her reasoning is we have a guy with a 2008 Four Winns 318 Vista with the pewter colored hull and black canvas. The boat is beautiful but is more of a gold than tan and has the white arch. It also has a black stripe near the water line.

I'm not sold on the black canvas. I have heard it will be hotter in the sun but as long as it looks good I'm ok with it. Just not sure it will look right?

Might play around with editing current photos and color in the canvas to get an idea but thought maybe someone might have already done it.

I would have to imagine that it would fade/show its age a bit earlier than a lighter color.

Is this for a bimini or full cover? We have a black bimini and I can't say I notice it being hot as it's cooler than standing in the direct sun.

Do you have any other colors on your boat?

Are you seriously saying that you might take the opinion of a bunch of random strange guys on a boating forum over your wife’s opinion on a subject of style???? You sir are a braver man than I !!!

No black on mine. That's why I'm not sure it will look right. And yes, it will be the full enclosure but we rarely have the side panels on.
