Mine sits high enough on trailer to keep drives down even towing. Past boats, i always kept drive down. Keep tires inflated to mfg recomendations.

Use a wire to jump solenoids. Might be a bad switch. Check inline fuse. the wire harness connector can come loose as well.

Needs a new solenoid. You can cross the terminals with a jumper wire to verify. one solenoid for the up and one for down. $18 online.

More exhausting to document and type than just digging in and doing it. Gelcoat is very forgiving, wont burn like paint.

Some Sea Rays are thin enough to burn through, but definitely not that era...

Oil drain. The fittings/hardware that attach to bilge drain plug broke and they just pulled it out and will fish it back through to drain oil at end of season, or simply extract through dipstick tube.
